I dunno… none of my trainers are leather at this point, all man made, goretex, breathable, whatnot and very comfortable. Work shoes is sadly a different matter… man made makes sauna, bad fit and they don’t last…
I agree. Not all my shoes are leather – especially not since I moved to Mexico. But for dress, work, etc., that’s a different story. None of them was glass – but some sure felt like it.

Ouch! It hurts just to look at that photo! I don’t buy leather handbags or anything else–except shoes. Haven’t been able to wean myself off them.
