Barrie Martin, the stand-in for Richard Armitage in Alice in Wonderland 2 (Through the Looking Glass) lists this interesting trivia fact on his IMDB bio ( see paragraph 2):
Hi, I’m new and a recent RA follower, having discovered North and South about 6 months ago. I just stumbled on this blog recently.
I’m going to make a random prediction that is most likely wrong, but is fun to think about. There are a few seemingly human characters listed in the IMDB credits. Could it be that there are a few Victorian England scenes at the beginning before Alice goes through the looking glass? Because Mr. Thornton appearing in a scene would be an amazing cameo. And the books (North and South and Through the Looking Glass) were written within about 15 years of each other.
So, it could a role which has got to do with either being in the air or being in water – or both? Interesting stuff. Thanks for finding this.

Or on a horse, or sword fighting, or none of the above. Found by The Anglophile Channel, tweeted by ChrissyWM and sent me by Micra.

We’ll see. I don’t know where water would fit in, but time will tell.
