Richard Armitage Reportedly Narrating PBS D-Day Documentary Airing This Month.

Eni Koni, ( Richard Armitage Bulgaria) shared a link from Radio News stating that on May 19 and May 20, UK Channel 5 is airing a documentary, D-Day Sunken Secrets, Narrated by Richard Armitage.

And, the NOVA special, a two hour documentary, will be aired in the U.S. on PBS  on May 28, 2014, one week later.

A DVD – yet to be released, is also for sale:

Neither the PBS press release nor the DVD information lists any narrator.
Imagine, not one ( Hamlet:A Novel) , but two new narrations by Richard Armitage in the month of May, and we can own them. Be still my beating heart.

Now, let’s nail this rumor down regarding Nova.
Thanks Micra and Eni

  1. Seems to be a fact

    “ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Using two mini-submarines, a group of historians, wreck detectives, . . Richard Armitage narrates.”

    Thanks for the hint!

    • Hmmm. It is looking more and more like Kaprekar has a point, and the U.S. viewers watching PBS may not hear RA as the narrator. OTOH, it is seeming more certain that UK viewers will hear him on Mar 19 and 20. I’m a big supporter of PBS. I love it. I will watch the US version. I will try and watch the UK version. But I ain’t buying it unless Armitage is the narrator.
