I know many Richard Armitage fans sometimes like to see him going more than coming. Thanks to one of my favorite tumblrettes, Sahraobsessed, who found this photo on the Bulgarian FaceBook page, this little shown photo, which has the added bonus of displaying the name “Brooklyn” is my way of saying “Happy Sunday.”
This particular shot, the angle, his posture, maybe the fit of those jeans, makes his ample ass look even more generous than usual. (Sorry, I know “peaches” is a favorite term, but for me “ass” or “buns” or the always appreciated “tushie,” is more to my liking. Peaches, for me brings to mind juicy, pinkish fruit I want to bite into and allow the juice of which to run down my chin, and preserve.) My taste also leans more towards the tight-ass look – but hey, no one’s perfect. ( indefinite pronoun left indefinite on purpose).
I couldn’t find this photo on the Bulgarian page. I just didn’t have time to look through everything – I got distracted. There are stunning, enlarged shots and beautiful edits of our guy on that page that will make you smile, and some that will make you laugh. I’ll be beck there again, and again.
[ETA] This picture, and SO MUCH MORE ABOUT Richard in Captain America- including Videos, Article, More, More More was provided by Ali and can be found on the RANet.com site.
RA Bulgaria FB is a very good site and Eni Koni a very kind, nice girl. Love it.

I’m with you on this – I prefer the leaner look in general. But I’ll forgive RA anything 😉

I know- but it’s not really forgiveness- just a preference. There’s so much else to look at.

oh dear, I adore him slimmer in Spooks S07. Don’t ask me why, I love slim tall men. 😀

We all have preferences. I often miss the lanky, emaciated Lucas – but I’m pretty keen on this filled out ,substantial man as well. Bearded, unbearded, short hair, stubble, long hair, black hair, light hair, shaved chest, hair on chest, brown shoes, black boots —
just not that Nordic sweater!

yup! not that Nordic sweater (I also can’t bear the NY Hobbit Premiere suit… oh Ilaria, why, tell me why!), the rest is ok for me, no problem at all 😛

I had a violent, negative reaction to that suit, but over time, it has grown on me. Not true of the Tokyo premiere Waxed wool that photographed liked Neon – though when it is in the right light, I am forgiving, because it fits so well.

I still can’t stand it. RA is simply too big for such a suit. B. Cumberbatch was far better in it (he is less tal and slimmer than RA) and I also think it wasn’t apt to a Premiere. Tokyo suit was almost ok in normal light but an horror under the mighty spots. I agree that it fits him very, very well.

Haven’t seen this one before. Do we know when it was taken, and what context?

Ali is getting me the specifics. I am certain it is the Captain America set based on his hair, the old car, etc.
I will be editing the post to include the details provided, and to mention Eni from the Bulgarian Facebook page.

Please check the post again – it has been edited to add. Ali has provide sources http://www.richardarmitagenet.com/career/213.html, and you must check out this Captain America page. I swear, you can spend a lifetime on that site. More candids, articles, video. And while I have your attention, did you know there were jigsaw puzzles on the site of RA photos and caps? At every level of difficulty. Great for multitasking while you watch Richard on some DVD or Netflix.

Thanks for that, Perry. I’ve never read up much on CA- only that filming was done in England.

It’s a great web page. I tried to watch it the whole film but alas – I didn’t last too much longer after Heinz Kruger “got finished.” And “Spoiler? Not really” I thought he muffed his line when he said, (phonetically -ish)
” Heel Heightler”

I can’t even say how much I enjoy watching that man’s back side, I mean I adore all of him but his delicious arse is my favourite part of his body. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! As you see this is the first time I make a commentary. 🙂

I haven’t seen this before. Again – the tall man’s lean. I love it. I also love everything about his backside. For me, it’s just perfect.

I prefer him bulky but this wasn’t a good look, IMO. This look better suited Lucas S7 but that jacket is to short for him when he was bigger.
On the other hand, I liked the NY suit. I liked the way the POW check strained across his thighs and backside. Yum!
And on that note, I might just go and lie in a darkened room for a bit to recover..

Thread nap alert! Is anyone else having trouble with WordPress.com? As of yesterday, it isn’t allowing me to get email alerts on the blogs – I’m getting a message saying ‘your subscription could not be activated. It may have expired’ . I’ve tried logging out and in again – no luck. Then I wondered if the password I always use is not the one, so asked for password retrieval- the system said they didn’t have my username or password on their records. So then I thought I’d just reregister, but when I tried I got a message saying that email and username already exists! The only ‘contact us’ I could find insists I must have website, which I don’t, and the help desk only answers queries if you have a paid subscription to WordPress. I’m not sure what to do from here and wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.
Apologies to Perry for this diversion from RA’s nether regions.

It seems to be. It must have been a glitch at their end as I didn’t succeed in doing anything. Then tonight when I went back to look at it, it worked.
I was in a complete panic, I can tell you, wondering how I was going to keep up with all the chat without email alerts!

I see you’ve figured it out! That’s not Brooklyn but a set in Birmingham 🙂 I remember the excitement of the day & us trying to figure out what they were shooting.

That would have been Brooklyn before my time, but it was a good set. It had the “feel”of it based on the buildings I could see, and the scenes shot at the river looked authentic.

No. I did not become a fan until this past March or April. Three months too late.

I remember well all the speculation around these pictures. When the first ones appeared some even doubted it was him, but *we* who are very familiar with what he looks like were never in any doubt, were we? Oh dear! I nearly said “familiar with his body” but that just didn’t sound right! 😉

I don’t know how anyone who knows him would have doubted. Was that because no one knew or thought he would be there/
