Richard Armitage’s retweets today, on Brexit. A more direct statement of his position, to vote “Remain” tomorrow, than in his slightly more oblique, earlier, message. I’m glad things worked out so he might be able to vote.

Well, that’s if he is on the electoral roll… And living outside of Britain, he may have neglected that. I hope he hasn’t. It’s such an important day tomorrow. A lot depends on the outcome of this referendum, and has implications for Britain’s immediate neighbours (such as Ireland) and Europe.

It’s also possible that he submitted an absentee ballot much earlier. I don’t know specifics of the rules, but he might have done that, thinking he might not be in the UK. Big day. Crossing my fingers.

Good point.
Today is the day. The polling stations closed 25 minutes ago. By 1 or 2 am BST we should have the first projections.

Just woken up – and feel like going to bed again. I could cry with frustration. I am worried for the future of the EU, too.

All of the Britons I know desperately want to stay in the EU. I hope their wish comes true!
