There seems to be a little disagreement on the internet about how Normans wore their hair in the 13th century. Fortunately, this look of about 200 years earlier, was well over by that time. Some sources suggest that Normans wore their hair closely cropped with curls ( if they had them), and others suggest that the hair was worn long.
And these are monks–so there is the whole tonsure thing going for them. And I supp-hose, it depends–regarding the attire fortheir lower extremities. *wink*
