Yes, but his reference is now even less clear to me. His life in 1984 couldn’t have been anything like the the themes or plot of the novel, 1984, yet the novel 1984 is referred to frequently these days because of similarities or warnings some people see to the present. So, he’s saying neither now or later, but rather, before?
Looking back at his tweet now in October I think the fact that he opened up and revealed his angst as a preteen then is kinda huge. I had heard then in July he keeps things close to his chest and he’s non revealing so this admission to me is refreshing and this is one tweet of his I like and admire.
