The Lodge, which started production in Montreal on Wednesday, tells the story of a soon-to-be-stepmom snowed in with her fiance’s two children at a remote holiday village. Just as relations finally begin to thaw between the trio, strange and frightening events threaten to summon psychological demons from her strict religious childhood.

I’m not sure The Lodge is going to be a remake of Goodnight Mommy. Where did you get that information from?

I got the MISinformation from MISreading the press release. I read too quickly and thought between the directors being the same in the two films, and both films having to do with a mother and her children in an isolated cabin (lodge) that they were the same.

Richard plays the fiancé with the two kids right? I think I saw a movie poster and he is second billing after Riley Keough so is she the love interest-she’s Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter from marriage #1 and LMP is 3 years older than Richard so um ???
