Richard Armitage hasn’t forgotten. I’m guessing, when he said “films like these” that he was referring to small, independent, Irish films, and not super violent ones. From what we’ve heard, Bridget Cleary is both. See here

I thought he had a definite plan for Bridget Cleary, this looks more like he is trying to get someone interested, remember Richard III, well this sounds the same!

What I gleaned from his one or two statements, and the info on line, was that they’ve been looking for financing.

It has a 2015 date. I had the impression the screenplay is already written, but the film hasn’t gone into production.

That’s where I put it also, but this seems to be a reminder, or an “ask” from Richard Armitage. Or, maybe there is something going on that’s positive for getting more financing.

I thought maybe he had a grant proposal running: http://www.irishfilmboard.ie/funding_programmes/How_To_Apply_amp_Application_Deadlines/88
But if so, outside lobbying would be a negative, no? It would be in my profession, anyway.
