Micra retweeted this, and, while I think this may be the surprise Richard Armitage mentioned on Twitter, I’m trying to figure it out. I have not found any other confirmation of free episodes, or first two episodes on October 16 free.
Although, services like Hulu and SlingTV, which will show Berlin Station, do have free trials – as of now, these options don’t fit the bill. Sling has only a one week free trial and Hulu is supposed to start showing BS 90 days after it airs.
So, is it possible that ALL platforms on which Berlin Station will be available, may show the first two episodes in real time for free?
I can’t figure it out, but I’m looking. Anyone with more information, please chime in.
I remember Mr. Robot (also produced by Anonymous Content) did something similar to generate buzz in their target markets. They released their pilot across different platforms subscriber-free like YouTube and Xbox and I think their site, but don’t remember for sure. I tried looking for a stroy on it, but could only find this:

I’ll check it out. I recall something like that for another show – maybe an HBO show where the first episode was released on You Tube. Thank you

The first episode of ‘Black Sails’ (Starz) was shown on YouTube legal and for free one week before the original air date (2014)

Yes, I knew there was at least one show that did that. Here’s hoping.
