  1. Lovely pictures! 🙂 But poor guy, they didn’t get him a scarf and it was so cold today. Hope he doesn’t catch a cold. 😉

btw: This pic was shot at Kottbusser Tor in Kreuzberg. Funny enough I was there Saturday night and thought to myself that they will probably shoot some scenes there to include the gritty Berlin Kreuzberg look with its many shades of grey.
For every Berlin first-timer who wants to visit the filming locations: Kottbusser Tor is a rather shady place with rundown apartement blocks and drug-related crime (I’ve witnessed some really hairy situations around there but most of the time I felt pretty save). On the other hand it’s a popular party destination with lots of bars, clubs and kebab shops. Quite a contrast to Berlin Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg or Charlottenburg and therefore – in my opinion – worth a visit and perfect starting point to explore more of Kreuzberg and the surrounding districts like Neukölln and Friedrichshain.

  2. def a steadicam .. which i the first thing i focused on tbh, my first thought way.. i pity the poor steadycam cameraman having to run next to this guy and do his work at the same time, they usually do indoor stuff as it requires so much precision and control. But looks like a very experienced cameraman which he would be anyway using steadicams, never one for juniors in the trade.
