This explains the abundance of Arthur Miller lately! Especially the Crucible. I didn’t know about the one with Iain Glen (interesting!) and one with Ben Whishaw is coming up in NYC 🙂 There’s even one happening now in Cleveland OH which is my neck of the woods.
I found the Iain Geln one when I was looking at possible costumes Farber might use, and yes, the Whitshaw is getting big press, and makes me wonder whether that production might have been the reason that copyright issues prevented the DT version from being shown in North American movie theaters.
It’s just so hard for me to imagine Whishaw as Proctor after seeing the pix of Richard. This will be interesting! My Guy’s in it, you know. I’ve got my tickets already 🙂
