The fireworks are spectacular, along with other entertainment, but not visible from everywhere – just almost everywhere. Last year, or the year before, they switched from the Hudson River, on the West Side, to the East River lower downtown. So, that locked out the upper west siders like me. But as it happened, I was almost always out of town for the fourth. He can probably see them from his roof if he has access.
