Sounds like an interesting project and an interesting director who will treat the South Sudan setting in the serious way it deserves. (I had attempted to connect some dots in predicting what the Ahu Louhimies project was awhile back and clearly failed miserably! 😉 ). I didn’t expect to like Strike Back (“action” isn’t my go-to genre) but ended up loving its smart approach, so if this resembles SB in that sense it’s a promising comparison.
I don’t know if it’ll really resemble Strike Back, but I loved it also. I think we have to get used to the idea that these creative endeavors take a long time to percolate and get going.
Agree! Was only comparing with Strike Back in the broad sense – an intelligent action piece set in a global hotspot, which on the surface Clearance seems to be.

This looks very promising. It seems like he gets to be the good guy, and probably doesn’t die.
