Yay! Thorin! On my oldest daughter’s birthaday! (23 today). I will have to let her know….she will shake her head and say….Ummm, that’s great, Mom. (Not yet an RA fan….but I’m working on it). lol
Welcome Katia. I don’t know if I would call this particular likeness “majestic,” though I think there are and will be some majestic looking shots of Thorin. I think in this he has a pensive, worried, slightly crazed expression and bearing, from what we can see.

Yowza, Yowza, Yowza, Yowza, Yowza, Yowza, Yowza…and at some point blasted idiot as he makes reckless choices in the last movies. In a way this was the Thorin I waited for since I read the books. The guy under the make up made us remember it’s not always that way, and it doesn’t happen over night.
And now back to yowza, yowza, yowza, yowza, yowza…
I’m thinking that as long as Thorin’s death scene is better than Guy’s, I can deal with it. On the other hand, I have a real hate for Thorin’s last lines.
