Well done on locating a graphic of RA as Batman. And my reply to your question is, RA’s lips can be whatever he wants them to be–including Batman, if that is his choice. Ha!

Truth be told,I’m not sure i want him to play Batman. I want him to be offered the role. I think he would be the best Batman yet. But I see lots of risks for him and I wouldn’t want that commitment to prevent him from doing something less action based. If he chooses to do it, should it be offered, I’ll be behind that decision.

I’m very excited to see his name being put forward as a front runner for the role, but I really hope he gets offered another fabulous role. Why would he want that kind of attention? For something that is not really worthy of his talents? Another CGI type role? Feh. But I do see the appeal for having an actor of his talents play the role. He would be fabulous. Just laughing at your posts. Lips?? 😀 LOL!!

regardless of who plays the new Batman, I really doubt the writing/directing is going to be on par with the Nolan brothers. “The Dark Knight” is one of my favorite movies and Christian Bale my favorite actor, aside from Richard 😉 so I fear it might be one of those instances where Richard wouldn’t get the praise that he deserves because he can only work with what they give him 😉 I did have a thrill looking at that manip though! the eyes do it to me every time 🙂

My thoughts are that we never thought much about Thorin Oakenshield until Richard….

but Thorin is a character that no one has ever played before. Batman has been done numerous times, some made the character memorable while others are better off forgotten 😉 my point is: no matter how amazing Richard could possibly be in that role, he would still just be one of many. *shrugs* just my opinion, of course. as I said, I’m a bit biased coming from the Bale/Nolan fanclub 😉 in the end though, I’ll look forward to what ever Richard chooses to do and be a total fangirl about it 🙂
